I have worked as a theatrical costumer for over ten years, and currently work at Costume Works. I studied costume design at Smith College. I have worked at over a dozen theaters in six states, including Trinity Repertory Company in Providence, Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, and Huntington Theatre Company in Boston. The Society for Creative Anachronism inspired me to research and build Renaissance and Medieval clothing for myself and for friends.

I love constructing a garment because it's like solving a puzzle. I have also done some millinery, tailoring, and embroidery, all of which I found challenging and at which I would like to develop my skills. Although my main areas of expertise are stitching and wardrobe, I have also been a stage manager, assistant stage manager, house manager, stage crew, and sound and light board operator.
